Wildlife Conservation Evening Course

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at Bristol Zoo? Bristol Zoo’s Wildlife Conservation evening course will answer all your questions.

Delivered by a variety of Bristol Zoo professionals including education, research, veterinary and keeping staff, this course will offer you opportunity to get up close to unique zoo resources, including some living ones! The eight session course will run weekly and is open to anyone aged 18 and over.

Some of the topics we’ll be investigating are:

  • Conservation issues, challenges and breeding

  • Customs and confiscation

  • Human-wildlife interactions

  • Animal health

  • Education, learning and behaviour change

  • UK native species, invasive species and urban wildlife.

8 week course 18th January - 15th March 2018, 1 week break for half term 15th February
