Having Gardens Volunteers allows us to undertake additional projects and enhance the gardens even further for both animals and our guests to enjoy.
The gardens at Bristol Zoo contain one of Bristol’s most important collections of plants. There are unusual trees, shrubs and plants from around the world, including rare and endangered species. Of course gardening in a Zoo also means creating and maintaining planting inside animal exhibits, providing naturalistic and interesting habitats.
